Inventory of the Five Major Application Fields of PET

PET engineering plastics are currently consumed in several application areas: electrical and electronic 26%, automotive 22%, machinery 19%, appliances 10%, consumer goods 10%, and other 13%.
5 application areas:
1. In terms of film and sheet materials
All kinds of food, drugs, non-toxic and sterile packaging materials; High-grade packaging materials for textiles, precision instruments and electrical components; Substrates for audiotape, video tape, motion picture film, computer diskette, metal coating and photographic film, etc.; Electrical insulation materials, capacitor films, flexible printed circuit boards and film switches and other electronic and mechanical fields.
2. The application of packaging bottles
Its application has developed from the initial carbonated beverage to the present beer bottle, edible oil bottle, condiment bottle, medicine bottle, cosmetic bottle and so on
3. Electronic appliances
Manufactures connectors, coil coils, IC housings, capacitor housings, transformer housings, TV accessories, tuners, switches, timer housings, automatic fuses, motor brackets and relays.
4. Auto parts
Such as switchboard cover, ignition coil, various valves, exhaust parts, distributor cover, measuring instrument cover, small motor cover, etc., can also use PET excellent coating, surface gloss and rigidity, manufacturing automotive external parts.
5. Mechanical equipment
Manufacture gears, cams, pump housings, belts, motor frames and watch parts, and can also be used as microwave oven baking pans, various ceilings, outdoor billboards and models.
PET plastic molding processing can be injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, coating, bonding, machining, electroplating, vacuum gold plating, printing.
When PET is applied in plastic sheet, bottle material, chemical fiber and other fields, due to its own chemical characteristics, it needs to be viscosified and toughened before generating the finished product.

According to the principle of toughening and processing temperature, PET viscosification and toughening agent, PETG viscosification and toughening agent, has the effect of viscosification and toughening on raw materials and feedstock, does not affect transparency (will also improve transparency), can solve the problem (-40 degrees, +73 degrees), viscosity can be increased to 20%, toughness can be significantly increased 2-3 times. Make the return material, water inlet material to the level of new material, the product passed the US FDA.
Functions and features:
It is common for PET(PETG) sheet, chemical fiber, packaging belt, wire drawing and other materials.
The addition amount is small (0.2-0.6%), the cost is very low, and the effect is obvious.
It can greatly improve the viscosity and toughness of plastics, and the physical and chemical properties can also be improved.
Usage: Just mix and stir with raw materials or recycled materials in the mixer for 20min, so that it can be injected or extruded after being evenly mixed with plastic. It is recommended to test with 25 to 50K material. (Both of them need to be baked, and need to add toughening agent after baking to stir before processing, in order to ensure product quality, please do not share with other chemicals, so as not to affect its efficacy)
