In addition, many companies are also accelerating into the field of recycled plastics.
Recently, Lenovo Group announced the launch of the Branded closed-loop Material Program and partnered with third-party certification body UL Solutions to create the industry's first branded closed-loop material verification process. It is understood that the main process of treating e-waste at present is to disassemble different brands of e-waste by professional companies, and to treat and process recyclable materials such as plastics and metals, and then e-waste is returned to the product in a new form through the circular economy supply chain. In this process, the environmentally friendly recycled materials used by technology companies such as Lenovo actually come from different brands.
The establishment of an end-to-end brand closed-loop circular economy system helps enterprises to track the recycling of their own brand e-waste. Lenovo also plans to introduce Lenovo brand closed-loop recycled plastics in specific product models and gradually increase the proportion of use.
